Kim Potts is Venture Farm's head halter trainer. She is nationally and internationally known as one of the most talented and successful halter trainers in the Arabian industry. Kim has achieved an incredible winning record on all levels of competition. Her ability to train a horse to give its natural best in the show ring is unequaled. This is an attribute that all in the industry, and we at Venture, particularly admire. With the addition of amateurs showing halter horses, Kim enjoys working with her clients in this rapidly growing division. There is not a finer way for owners to bond with their horses and delight in showing them off. Kim has received the coveted "Female Halter Trainer of the Year" award many times in her career. |

She has been named Region 9 Female Saddle Seat Trainer of the Year. Kat has been with Venture Farms since October of 2001, and has done a remarkable job building the performance program at Venture. She won a unanimous US National Championship in the Half-Arabian English Pleasure Futurity in 2003 with the first horse bred by Venture Farms and trained and shown by Kathleen. |

She has won national championships and top tens in multiple divisions both at the U.S. and Canadian Nationals. Her exceptional talent in multiple divisions is a valuable asset to Venture Farms. Kat is also extremely enthusiastic about working with amateur riders of all ages as well as junior riders. She has an unusual talent for instructing amateur riders in a way that is easily understandable and highly effective. Venture is proud to have Kat as a member of its successful team.
